| Creative Writes is always developing – watch this space for the new style Blog in 2013 |
As we quickly approach 2013, I thought now was a perfect time to highlight some of the Creative Writes 2012 journey and talk a little about 2013.
This blog will look slightly different in the New Year – it will be called ‘ The Diary of a Workshop Leader’ and will share regular inspiration, writing ideas, creative events and Creative Writes workshop happenings.
The Creative Writes workshops are an integral part of who I am and you are invited to join me on this fulfilling journey through the new blog posts.
This year has included so many new partnerships and developments. The website will be expanded next year to tell you more about these but for now, highlights have included;
Guest workshops for Urban Writers Retreat , London Lapidus, Sutton House & Dylsexia Students, The City Business Library, a new partnership with Pickled Pepper Books running children’s workshops, continuing to work with Mendham Writers, meeting Nina Simoes & Carmen Comadran and working with Nina on the Fragments of Parenthood Project (which has lead to partnerships with The October Gallery and a Children’s Centre), working with Olivia Bellas from ScreenDeep as a Script Adviser for Memento – a new audio description of the Victorian Limehouse Town Hall which launched last night and was wonderful to be a part of.
I have also introduced Creative Writes one to one Skype workshops, Women’s Writes, Masterclasses and Blogs etc Workshops. The Creative Writes research project is almost complete and this has informed the offer for next year.
Next year, I look forward to returning to Sutton House where until this summer – I programmed and managed arts events. I will deliver a series of four Saturday workshops in February/March at this incredibly inspiring historic house in Hackney.
