Creative Writes workshop for London Lapidus at the Poetry Cafe, 31 March 2012
Lapdius is a National organisation which looks at ways in which we can use creative writing for health and wellbeing.
I was excited to run a guest Creative Writes workshop for the London Lapidus group at the Poetry Cafe in Covent Garden yesterday.
There were 13 writers and content included some warm up exercises where we discussed what we had always wanted to write and a fast paced free flow – ‘I am’ in the voice of a character (this was triggered by picture postcards).
It was great to hear what the group had written and hopefully they will go and develop their work to share at the next Lapidus meeting: www.lapidus.org.uk
