Summer 2009 Workshops

Creative Writes workshops run regularly at North Bank in Muswell Hill, London N10.

North Bank is a wonderful house that belongs to a Victorian Estate. Workshops are held in the Oak room, which was the Billiard room of the old house. It has great character and stunning views of the gardens.

The groups are small and supportive, with no more than ten people. Workshops are motivational and tailor-made.

Free-flow writing is used as a foundation from which to build writing skills and confidence. Personal stories are often used as a starting point.

The aim is to free your writing and develop your style through a range of form and techniques. These include short story/flash fiction, storytelling, poetry and language games with which to develop character and description (please go to Creative Writes Is... for more detail).

There is a combination of individual and group work.

All abilities and interests are welcome.
